You’ll help us shape the future of the Deliveroo product, crafting intuitive, user-centric experiences that define how our customers, partners, and riders interact with our platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Studio team. While your primary focus will be dedicated to the Deliveroo product, you will be part of a global design community that includes talented designers from Deliveroo, Wolt, and DoorDash. You’ll have access to this wider network to share learnings, exchange best practices, and gain fresh perspectives while delivering high-impact work for our specific market.

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for complex Deliveroo features, from discovery and user research to high-fidelity execution.
  • Shape the design vision for key product areas, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for our local user base.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to transform ambiguous business problems into elegant, user-centric solutions.
  • Contribute to and evolve our core design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across the Deliveroo ecosystem.
  • Mentor junior designers and advocate for design thinking throughout the product development lifecycle to raise the bar for our creative output.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
  • Significant experience designing complex digital products at scale, with a portfolio showcasing clear problem-solving and visual craft.
  • Proven ability to lead design strategy within cross‑functional teams, balancing user needs with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ownership of design systems or pattern libraries, with an understanding of how to maintain consistency across a complex product suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders and influence product direction.
  • Expertise in modern design tools (such as Figma) and a solid understanding of how design translates into technical implementation.
