We’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our London team for a 1‑year fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll lead key aspects of the reporting and accounting process for the DoorDash group, ensuring our financial operations remain robust and scalable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive Reporting Excellence: Lead month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, ensuring all financial reporting deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with US headquarters requirements.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy.
- Process Transformation: Identify process gaps and implement scalable controls to strengthen financial governance and shorten close cycles across the group.
- Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders in Operations and regional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve data quality.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audit requests while maintaining comprehensive documentation for key accounting processes and SOPs.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
- Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accountancy qualification.
- Technical Depth: Significant post‑qualification experience within a complex, fast‑paced financial environment, ideally with a focus on group reporting.
- System Proficiency: Strong understanding of NetSuite (or equivalent ERP systems) and financial reporting tools.
