If you thrive in fast‑paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Regional UK & Ireland team. In this role, you’ll be the engine behind our growth in Bristol and the South West/Wales region, signing up the best restaurant partners and improving our proposition for local customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll be joining a team of experts dedicated to the local markets we serve. This is not a typical office‑based role; you will be out on the road, acting as the face of Deliveroo in your region and building relationships that fuel our expansion.
- Strategic Prospecting: Map, pitch, and close new restaurant partners with an organized, "city‑level expert" approach. You’ll know the "hidden gems" and exactly what local customers are craving.
- Technology Advocacy: Communicate via physical visits, calls, and digital channels to demonstrate how Deliveroo’s technology can transform a partner's business.
- Seamless Onboarding: Oversee the end‑to‑end onboarding process to ensure new partners transition onto the platform quickly and efficiently.
- Early‑Stage Success: Take ownership of a partner’s performance within their first eight weeks, ensuring they are set up for long‑term growth.
- Market Immersion: Attend food meet‑ups and sample local offerings to stay at the forefront of the regional food scene.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
- Sales Grit: Comfortable targeting new business and hunting for the best restaurants in the region.
- Negotiation Excellence: Proven ability to structure win‑win deals that benefit both the partner and Deliveroo.
- Commercial Acumen: A solid understanding of the economics of food delivery and the ability to work toward demanding monthly targets.
- Relationship Focus: Exceptional communication skills, whether face‑to‑face, via phone, or email.
- Mobility: A valid driving licence and access to a car are required, as you will be traveling across Bristol and the South West regularly.
Why Join Us?
- Make a visible impact every day: Your work directly improves the choice and quality available to local customers.
- Learn fast in an entrepreneurial environment: Work with autonomy, pace, and real responsibility.
- Build a career, not just a role: Stretch yourself and grow as our global business evolves.
- Deliver together in an inclusive culture: Collaborative, values‑driven teams that support how you work best.
