About the team

The Marketing Manager, Grocery will sit within the New Verticals Marketing team, responsible for driving forward our company mission of transforming the way customers shop and eat. The role will sit within the Grocery sub-team, focusing on our On Demand Grocery proposition within the UK & Ireland. It’s an exciting time for on-demand grocery, with significant category growth across the UK & Ireland, an evolving customer mindset, and huge opportunity to shape the future of Deliveroo. The role will report into the Senior Grocery Partner Marketing Manager, New Verticals, and will be based in London.

About the role

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help deliver on our vision of growth for on demand grocery. The role will involve:

  • Planning category marketing campaigns
  • Building successful relationships with our Grocery partners
  • Leading our planning cycles and processes
  • Optimising promotional strategies

You will work closely with the UKI team, mainly commercial, internal CRM, Product, Value & Partnerships teams to deliver best in class marketing strategy and campaigns that align with our vision and objectives. You will be an entrepreneurial proposition developer, confident with sales pitches, and a great collaborator. A passion for Grocery, customer obsession, and strategic thinking to solve business problems are essential. Experience in working with customer and commercial data & insight to build marketing campaigns is required, along with a broad knowledge of the marketing channel mix.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborating and delivering joint business plans with key Grocery partners
  • Working effectively alongside the UKI Grocery commercial team to understand strategy and vision
  • Engaging partners with marketing strategy and plans, pitching new ideas and innovations
  • Reporting on the impact of marketing campaigns for partners
  • Building category trade plans using insight and data
  • Leading quarterly planning cycles
  • Embedding a test & learn mindset across all activities
  • Analysing data to provide trends and recommendations
  • Working cross-vertically within the marketing team

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within e-commerce, FMCG, Grocery, or On-Demand Delivery
  • Proven track record of managing high value external partnerships or Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
  • Experience executing 360 degree campaigns across various marketing channels
  • Experience working closely with commercial teams to align marketing goals with revenue targets
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to pitch marketing innovations
  • A natural team player who prioritises ownership across partners and projects
