We’re looking for a Mandarin-speaking Account Manager to join our Scotland team. In this role, you’ll help us drive the growth of the Chinese restaurant category across the region, acting as a strategic partner to some of our highest-performing merchants.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage strategic partnerships: Act as the face of Deliveroo for top Chinese restaurant partners across Scotland, maintaining relationships through frequent face-to-face and remote communication.
  • Drive commercial performance: Use data analysis and industry expertise to identify growth opportunities, maximising order volume and profitability for your partners.
  • Negotiate & Influence: Lead contract negotiations and partnership terms to ensure long-term value for both Deliveroo and our restaurant partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Marketing to build growth campaigns and partner with Operations to improve delivery efficiencies and rider interactions.
  • Be the local category expert: Deeply understand the Chinese restaurant landscape in Scotland, innovating new ideas to keep Deliveroo ahead of the competition.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

  • Linguistic proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken). The ability to speak Cantonese is a significant bonus.
  • Commercial experience: Proven professional experience in Sales or Account Management, preferably within a high-growth or dynamic environment.
  • Data-driven mindset: Comfortable using data to tell a story, identify trends, and back up commercial recommendations.
  • Exceptional people skills: A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders, from independent owners to larger groups.
  • Autonomy and grit: A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently while travelling to meet partners across the Scottish region.
