You’ll be joining the Studio team. While your primary focus will be dedicated to the Deliveroo product, you will be part of a global design community that includes talented designers from Deliveroo, Wolt, and DoorDash. At the Staff level, you will play a pivotal role in this community, mentoring senior talent, cross-pollinating best practices, and setting the standard for design excellence globally.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Define the product design strategy for high-level, ambiguous business challenges, ensuring alignment between user needs and long-term commercial goals.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to drive architectural decisions and platform-wide design standards.
  • Champion a culture of design excellence by mentoring senior designers and fostering high-quality craft across the organisation.
  • Identify and tackle systemic design opportunities that improve performance, accessibility, and user satisfaction at scale.
  • Act as a bridge between functions, using your influence to align cross-functional teams around a unified product vision.

  • Extensive experience leading complex design initiatives from conception to launch within large-scale, high-growth environments.
  • Proven ability to define and drive design strategy, successfully managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
