About the role:
We are seeking a talented marketing professional to join our team in London on a 12 month fixed term contract and play a pivotal role in our Restaurant Marketing Team. In this position, you will report to the Head of Restaurant Marketing and be responsible for developing and executing growth initiatives with exciting national restaurant partners such as Nando’s, Wagamama and Pho. You will also be responsible for developing and launching marketing strategies and toolkits to service a tail of smaller scale, but highly relevant restaurant brands. As the Marketing Lead, you will serve as the primary contact within marketing for these partners, working collaboratively to achieve their objectives and create mutual value. You will represent the voice of both the restaurant and the customer across various cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication of plans. We are looking for someone with strong influence and expertise in marketing who can effectively support our partners and contribute to the success of our collaborations.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the marketing relationship with designated restaurant partners, including leading Nationals Brands like Nando’s, Wagamama and Pho.
- Developing annual joint business plans with key Restaurant Partners to drive growth on Deliveroo.
- Developing a marketing strategy, framework and toolkits which will be cascaded to the wider Marketing team to effectively service highly relevant, but smaller scale or regional restaurant partners.
- Support the acquisition of new national restaurant partners by building relevant and impactful launch plans.
- Drive the Restaurant marketing strategy within the Key Account and Mid Market segment at Deliveroo.
- Partnering closely with Commercial teams to drive growth through new customer acquisition, frequency and retention, and brand awareness.
- Delivering Quarterly Growth Opportunities for Partners, outlining key opportunities for brands to participate with clear data‑led and ROI‑backed recommendations and leading the Quarterly Growth Opportunities process within the wider commercial structure.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver joint business plans and future growth strategies for Restaurant partners (i.e. Product, CRM, Social and PR).
- Take ownership of key restaurant marketing initiatives such as building Plus our loyalty proposition and enhancing the ways brands can engage with Deliveroo to drive increased visibility in the app.
Requirements:
- Partner or Trade Marketing experience.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in marketing strategy, consumer insights, and commercial data analysis to understand performance and build structured narratives around business performance.
- Ability to deliver 360 marketing campaigns with a focus on CRM, Digital, and Social channels.
- Experience in developing and executing media campaigns such as Radio or OOH.
- Skilled in building marketing promotional plans (e.g., % off, Free item, BOGOF) and articulating ROI effectively.
- Excellent relationship building and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in translating complex data and strategies into simple, actionable ideas.
- Experience in forecasting and managing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
