We’re looking for a Manager, Risk & Insurance to join our USA team. In this role, you’ll lead risk management initiatives and ensure our insurance programmes align with our rapid global growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive Risk Strategy: Define and execute our risk management approach to ensure long-term resilience and financial stability as the business evolves.
- Optimise Insurance Portfolios: Lead the procurement and management of corporate insurance programmes, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and cost-effective.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leaders across the organisation to assess evolving risk scenarios and develop innovative mitigation solutions.
- Lead and Mentor: Manage and develop a team of specialists, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accuracy and proactive risk identification.
- Ensure Compliance: Navigate complex regulatory landscapes to ensure all risk programmes and policies meet global standards and industry best practices.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
- Essential:
- Deep Risk Expertise: 5+ years of experience in risk management, corporate insurance, insurance procurement, or brokerage (preferably in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment).
- People Management: 1+ years of experience managing a direct report or a small team of insurance specialists or analysts.
- Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to lead initiatives, align senior stakeholders, and drive risk strategies across diverse teams.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to assess complex risks, analyse data, and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Communication & Influence: Proven ability to explain complex risk concepts to executives and cross-functional partners to influence key business decisions.
- Professional certifications such as ARM or CPCU.
- Experience navigating risk within a three-sided marketplace or gig-economy model.
