About the team
The Marketing Manager, Grocery will sit within the New Verticals Marketing team, responsible for driving forward our company mission of transforming the way customers shop and eat. The role will sit within the Grocery sub-team, focusing on our On Demand Grocery proposition within the UK & Ireland.
About the role
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help deliver on our vision of growth for on-demand grocery. The role will involve:
- Planning category marketing campaigns
- Building successful relationships with our Grocery partners
- Leading our planning cycles and processes
- Optimising promotional strategies
You will work closely with the UKI team, including commercial, internal CRM, Product, Value & Partnerships teams to deliver best in class marketing strategy and campaigns. You should be an entrepreneurial proposition developer, confident with sales pitches, and a great collaborator. A passion for Grocery, customer obsession, and strategic thinking to solve business problems are essential.
You will have experience working with customer and commercial data & insight to build marketing campaigns and a broad knowledge of the marketing channel mix. The role will also involve partner-facing responsibilities, driving forward some of the largest partners across the UK & Ireland.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborating and delivering joint business plans with key Grocery partners
- Working effectively alongside the UKI Grocery commercial team
- Engaging partners with marketing strategy and plans
- Reporting on the impact of marketing campaigns for partners
- Building category trade plans using insight and data
- Leading quarterly planning cycles
- Embedding a test & learn mindset
- Working cross-functionally within the marketing team
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within e-commerce, FMCG, Grocery, or On-Demand Delivery
- Proven track record of managing high value external partnerships or Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
- Experience executing 360 degree campaigns across various marketing channels
- Experience aligning marketing goals with revenue targets
- Exceptional communication skills
- Natural team player prioritising ownership across partners and projects
