We’re looking for a Head of Creative to join our London team. This is a hybrid role working 3 days a week from our London HQ. In this role, you’ll set the creative vision for Deliveroo's global brand, leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver bold, high-impact work that drives measurable business success.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Brand & Experience team. Sitting at the heart of our customer, rider, and partner touchpoints, we blend strategic thinking with creative excellence to shape perceptions and spark engagement worldwide.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Set the creative vision and strategy: Partner with Marketing, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to define, evolve, and execute global creative strategies for major brand campaigns, product launches, and key initiatives.
- Lead and develop talent: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of nine creatives (including three direct reports) across art direction, digital content, and copywriting, fostering an inclusive culture of growth and collaboration.
- Champion creative excellence: Drive cross-functional collaboration with global and local teams, overseeing work from concept through execution to guarantee exceptional standards across every touchpoint.
- Advance creative innovation: Partner with Creative Operations and Creative Technology to scale AI-enabled workflows, automation, and emerging tools (such as Figma Make, Figma AI, or Weave) that enhance team speed, quality, and efficiency.
- Optimise team delivery and impact: Collaborate with Project Management to prioritise initiatives, allocate resources effectively, and keep the team ahead of creative, cultural, and technological trends.
What You’ll Need to Thrive

- Creative Leadership: Significant experience leading high-performing multidisciplinary creative teams across both agency and in-house environments, with exceptional coaching and talent development skills.
- Strategic & Hands-on Expertise: Strong expertise in brand strategy, creative direction, and digital content, supported by a portfolio demonstrating creative strategy that delivers measurable business impact.
- Process & AI Integration: Deep understanding of the end-to-end creative process alongside practical experience embedding AI-powered creative tools and workflows into day-to-day team operations.
- Stakeholder & Change Management: Outstanding communication skills with proven ability to influence senior leaders, collaborate cross-functionally, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Execution & Balance: Excellent organisational skills with a strong creative instinct that balances ambitious, bold thinking with pragmatism and attention to detail.
