The Finance and Strategy team’s core mission is to help Deliveroo make more effective decisions. Deliveroo is looking for a dynamic and analytical mind to join the France Finance and Strategy team for a six‑month internship in Financial Planning & Analysis starting March/April 2025. This internship opportunity is designed for students in the process of completing a Master or a Bachelor degree with a first experience in the financial sector.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in performing financial analysis to help drive business decisions, with a focus on the marketing spends.
  • Help track and analyse the financial performance against our reforecast and annual targets.
  • Cooperate with the business teams on the monthly reforecast process to ensure exhaustivity and accuracy.
  • Participate in ensuring the accuracy of the financial accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of analysis for senior management.

Problem Solving and daily operation

  • Continuously collaborate with the team to improve efficiency by building new tools, new processes and ensuring analytical training of the team.

Ad‑hoc projects & analysis

  • Participate in ad‑hoc projects and analysis based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, excellent team player.
  • Experience being part of complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to go into the field and transform observations into hypotheses.
  • Ability to work quickly with tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel and analytics (knowledge of SQL is a plus).
  • Fluent and comfortable working in French and English.
  • Master Degree or Bachelor degree looking for a 5 months internship.
