What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Deliveroo Editions team. Deliveroo Editions are the world's first delivery‑only kitchens, partnering with fantastic restaurants to help them connect with hungry customers through market‑leading service and selection.

Here’s what your day‑to‑day might look like:

  • Lead and prioritise: Work closely with site management to achieve company objectives, effectively prioritising tasks and delegating to the team during busy shifts.
  • Oversee dispatch: Supervise the dispatch process to ensure the accurate handling of orders to riders, minimising mistakes during peak periods.
  • Drive safety and standards: Maintain high levels of food safety and compliance, completing H&S checks to ensure a clean, organised, and legal site environment.
  • Coach for compliance: Supervise adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) through robust supervision and impactful coaching of team members.
  • Manage stakeholders: Communicate professionally with riders, neighbours, and contractors to uphold Deliveroo’s reputation and ensure smooth site operations.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

  • Proven leadership: Demonstrated experience in training others and the ability to run shifts independently.
  • Operational mindset: A strong hands‑on approach with a proven track record of consistently hitting KPI targets.
  • Excellent communication: Good proficiency in both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate professionally with various stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working and making decisions in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • People management: Ability to supervise team time‑keeping and breaks while fostering a positive and cooperative working culture.

Why Join Us?

At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters, solving real‑world problems in a three‑sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving.

We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:

  • Make a visible impact every day. Your work directly improves experiences for customers, partners and riders.
  • Learn fast in an entrepreneurial environment. Work close to the market with autonomy, pace and real responsibility.
  • Build a career, not just a role. Stretch yourself, develop new skills and grow as the business evolves.
  • Deliver together in an inclusive culture. Collaborative, values‑driven teams that support how you work best.

We aim to create a fair process that lets your skills shine—our interview typically includes 3‑4 stages. Find more about how we hire.
