We are hiring a Consumer Strategy Manager to help Deliveroo grow, retain and monetise its customer base across all verticals. You will be part of the Consumer Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, the central function responsible for driving platform MAU growth, order rate, AOV and consumer-side P&L performance. In this role, you will support and lead highâimpact workstreams that inform where and how we grow, improve the consumer experience, and shape how we drive longâterm commercial value from our customers. You will partner closely with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Analytics and GMs to translate strategy into execution. This is a highly crossâfunctional role requiring strong analytical thinking, structured communication, and sound commercial judgment.
What Youâll Do
- Strategy & Insight
- Work with senior team members to shape growth strategies across markets, segments, or verticals.
- Conduct analytical deepâdives to size opportunities, assess performance gaps, or inform new initiatives.
- Structure insights clearly to support decisionâmaking and prioritisation by senior stakeholders.
- Performance & Planning
- Own the tracking and reporting of key consumer KPIs (e.g. MAU, order rate, AOV) across workstreams.
- Collaborate with Analytics and Data Science to build frameworks for performance monitoring and forecasting.
- Support OKR planning and inâquarter performance reviews for initiatives you contribute to.
- Execution & Delivery
- Lead specific workstreams or initiatives within broader crossâfunctional programs, such as target segment strategies (e.g. families, lowâdensity growth).
- Merchandising and seasonal missions (e.g. missions and occasions, gifting).
- Double Order or ranking changes in collaboration with Consumer Product.
- Develop structured execution plans and drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure delivery.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key point of contact for your workstreams with Product, Marketing, Finance, and local market teams.
- Help shape meeting cadences, updates and crossâfunctional operating models to keep work moving.
- Support knowledge sharing and playbook development to scale highâperforming ideas.
What Youâll Need to Succeed
- 6+ years in strategy, consulting, business operations or a growthârelated role in a tech or consumer business.
- Strong problemâsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to work from incomplete data sets.
- Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive structure, clarity and progress in complex environments.
- High personal ownership and bias for action, while knowing when to elevate or seek alignment.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work across a diverse set of teams and perspectives.
- (Bonus) Experience in marketplaces, consumer tech, food delivery or multiâmarket ops.
