We’re looking for a Head of Procurement Analytics & Insights to join our London team. This is a hybrid role.
In this role, you’ll set the strategic direction for how Procurement utilises data, turning internal and external insights into a distinct commercial advantage that shapes category strategies, mitigates risk, and drives executive decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) team. The CoE is responsible for enabling procurement to operate with clear standards, strong governance, and high-quality insight that supports commercially grounded decision-making. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Analytics & Insights Strategy: Define and maintain the end-to-end procurement analytics strategy, setting the direction for how we use data and market intelligence across value, risk, compliance, and supply market dynamics.
- Data Architecture & Governance: Own the procurement data architecture, defining data domains, quality standards, and lineage to ensure analytics requirements are embedded upstream into process and system designs.
- External Intelligence & Scanning: Build a systematic external scanning capability combining macroeconomic trends, commodity cost drivers, and ESG data to generate practical, category-relevant insight and scenarios.
- Executive Narrative & Reporting: Shape the procurement insight narrative for senior leadership and ExCo, producing robust, executive-ready reporting on performance, value delivery, and outlook.
- Advanced Analytics Enablement: Sponsor advanced analytics capabilities—including should-cost, TCO, and business case modelling—partnering with Digital & AI teams to embed analytics into daily workflows.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary interface to Finance and enterprise analytics functions, ensuring performance and risk reporting is trusted, consistent, and aligned across the global matrix.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential
- Significant Commercial Intelligence Experience: Proven track record in procurement analytics, commercial intelligence, data strategy, or a closely related discipline within a complex, global matrix environment.
- Data Architecture Expertise: Demonstrated ability to define data architectures, KPI frameworks, and automated reporting standards that translate complex data sets into structured commercial opportunities.
- Strong Financial Acumen: Deep experience in financial analysis, including TCO, cost modelling, business cases, ROI, and understanding P&L impact.
- Executive Stakeholder Influence: Proven capability to translate technical analysis into clear strategic narratives, challenging assumptions and influencing senior leaders and Finance partners.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Strong commercial judgement with the ability to combine internal operational data with external market intelligence to guide category strategies.

- Procurement Background: Hands‑on experience within procurement, supply chain management, or category sourcing.
- Strategic Framework Proficiency: Familiarity with strategic tools such as PESTLE, Kraljic matrices, supplier preferencing, and purchasing chessboards.
