About the role
Deliveroo is looking for a dynamic and analytical mind to join the France Finance and Strategy team for a six‑month internship in Financial Planning & Analysis starting March/April 2025. This internship opportunity is designed for students in the process of completing a Master or a Bachelor degree with a first experience in the financial sector.
Responsibilities
- Financial performance: Support the team in performing financial analysis to help drive business decisions, with a focus on the marketing spends. Help track and analyse the financial performance against our reforecast and annual targets. Cooperate with the business teams on the monthly reforecast process to ensure exhaustivity and accuracy. Participate in ensuring the accuracy of the financial accounts. Assist in the preparation of analysis for senior management.
- Problem Solving and daily operation: Continuously collaborate with the team to improve efficiency by building new tools, new processes and ensuring analytical training of the team.
- Ad‑hoc projects & analysis: Participate in ad‑hoc projects and analysis based on business needs.
Requirements
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, excellent team player.
- Experience being part of complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to go into the field and transform observations into hypotheses.
- Ability to work quickly with tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel and analytics (knowledge of SQL is a plus).
- Fluent and comfortable working in French and English.
- Master Degree or Bachelor degree looking for a 5 months internship.
