As a Finance Manager within our global reporting team, based in London, you will report on the Middle East region of the business. Your responsibilities include monthly reporting, working with auditors, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

You will report to the Senior Finance Manager for the Middle East.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Responsibility for month-end reporting across Middle East entities and specific processes across all group entities
  • Liaise with the broader reporting team on group-level processes and take responsibility for specific processes as required
  • Work with the local Middle East Finance Strategy and operational teams to ensure understanding of all accounting entries
  • Assist the local Middle East Finance Strategy with queries on monthly reports
  • Perform monthly variance analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet, collaborating with other Finance sub-departments
  • Conduct monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, resolving variances and issues
  • Prepare statutory accounts for Middle East entities according to local standards
  • Coordinate with external auditors to fulfill their requests and respond to queries
  • Support finance transformation projects and ad hoc initiatives
  • Assist the external group reporting team during half-year and full-year reporting cycles

Requirements:

  • Accountancy qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with 2+ years of post-qualified experience
  • Technical accounting knowledge
  • Good understanding of IFRS 15
  • Proactive attitude and ownership of work
  • Results-oriented with a drive to deliver
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment with clear targets
  • Awareness of deadlines

Advantageous, but not required:

  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Prior experience with Netsuite, Blackline, intercompany transactions, IFRS 16
