Functions include commercial, operations and marketing, and teams in the UK&I partner with global departments such as Product, Technology, Consumer and Restaurants. UK&I Regional presents one of the biggest growth opportunities available to Deliveroo and we are building a diverse team of talented, commercially experienced individuals to help us fulfil our potential.
We are looking for a Field Sales Executive to join our Manchester team. This is a rare opportunity to join the Regional Team, with a direct contribution to the success of the cities you work in. You will build relationships with new restaurant partners across your area, improving our proposition for customers; you’ll role model best-in-class behaviour to the team, coaching and guiding them. This role is a perfect fit for a candidate who enjoys building rapport, delivering results and working independently. You will report to the City Manager and be based from the Manchester office but spend the majority of your time in your cities.
What you’ll do:
- Map, prospect, pitch and close new partners: this means being “on the streets”, finding and signing the restaurants & stores local customers love!
- Communicate (via in-person visits, emails, calls, and social media) with partners to demonstrate Deliveroo technology & the opportunity for their business.
- Make yourself known in target cities as the food delivery and restaurant industry expert; building trust and facilitating inbound deal flow.
- Oversee the restaurant onboarding process to ensure it is quick, efficient and seamless and support continuous improvement.
- Log all meetings and activity in Salesforce, with clear and concise notes.
As this role requires regular travel around to towns and cities in the Manchester area, from Bolton to Blackpool. We’re looking for candidates who have a valid drivers licence and car, thrive with autonomy, are excited about a field-based role and enjoy spending most of their week outside of the office.
Requirements:
- Confident and charismatic individual who can “sell with style”
- Track record of delivering outstanding commercial results
- Strong commercial acumen, results and target-oriented
- Effective relationship-building and communication skills
- Self-starter, hard worker and well organised, enjoys working autonomously and working in the field 4-5 days per week
- Preferable - Fluent in at least one other language: (eg: Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi etc)
