The Team

The Regional UK and Ireland team drives Deliveroo\’s performance across all 4 nations of UKI. From Brighton, to Bognor to Belfast, we are experts in the local markets we serve. As part of the regional UKI team, you will sign up the best restaurants in the city/region. Regional UKI presents one of the biggest growth opportunities available to Deliveroo and we are building a team of commercially experienced, individuals to help us fulfil our potential. You will work within the Greater London region and report into the Regional Manager.

The role

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of a growing business in a competitive market. You\\\’ll be responsible for forging new relationships with restaurant partners in your area, improving our offering for customers, and identifying new ways to fuel our rapid growth. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building and nurturing long-term partnerships.

Please note that a valid driving license and a car are preferred for this role, as you\\\’ll be traveling to different areas around Surrey, including Purley, Shirley, Leatherhead, Epsom, Bexleyheath, Dartford, Reigate, and Dorking. This is not a typical office job, and you should be comfortable with being on the road and meeting with people.

What you\\\’ll be doing

Strategically identify, prospect, and partner with new restaurants across your region. This involves becoming a local expert on the culinary scene, knowing which restaurants are up-and-coming and which ones customers love most.

Build strong relationships through physical visits, calls, emails, and social media to showcase Deliveroo\\\’s value and technology.

Guide restaurants through the onboarding process to ensure a quick, efficient, and seamless start to our partnership.

Provide ongoing support to new partners to help them succeed in their first few months.

Engage with the local food community by attending restaurant and food events.

KPIs:

  • Number of restaurants signed each month
  • Performance of restaurants signed (first 3 months)

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a client-facing or sales role.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on creating \”win-win\” partnerships.
  • Strong business acumen, with an understanding of the food delivery ecosystem from both the restaurant and Deliveroo perspectives.
  • The ability to take ownership of your territory and work effectively toward ambitious goals.
  • A genuine passion for food and restaurants.
  • A resilient and motivated mindset.
  • 1+ years of sales or relevant experience.
