Deliveroo International Insurance Manager is responsible for owning and managing the company's insurance programme across all territories, leading renewal cycles, reviewing contracts, managing certificates of insurance, overseeing vendor onboarding, and maintaining carrier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the international insurance programme across all territories.
  • Lead annual renewal cycles, including structuring, data preparation, submission, and binding.
  • Review contracts and set insurance requirements for new verticals.
  • Manage certificates of insurance for events and partnerships.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding, NDAs, and insurance for third-party relationships.
  • Build and maintain carrier relationships in the London market and represent Deliveroo with underwriters.

Requirements

  • Essential insurance industry experience (broking or in-house risk management).
  • Experience reviewing contracts, policy documents, and terms.
  • International market knowledge beyond the UK.
  • Commercial mindset: ability to translate insurance concepts for stakeholders.
  • Strong document creation and presentation skills for carrier decks.
  • Proficient with AI tools and data analysis.
  • Desirable: Understanding of platform and gig economy risk profiles.
  • Desirable: CII qualification or equivalent.
  • People management experience or readiness to lead a small team.
  • Exposure to captive structures or corporate programme design.
