They collaborate with global departments such as product, technology, and consumer. The Regional Growth team manages the commercial output of our mid-market restaurant partners across the five nations of the U.K. and Ireland, including dark kitchens, Editions, and the Chinese Category Team. Each region has its own complexities and opportunities, and our teams focus on offering the best selection to customers and growth opportunities for restaurants.
We seek a City Manager to join our South England team. You will build relationships with restaurant partners in Brighton, Maidstone, and Haywards Heath, enhancing our proposition for customers and identifying growth opportunities. This role suits someone who enjoys relationship-building and data-driven insights. You will report to the Regional Manager for South England and be based in London.
What You’ll Do
- Become the local expert for your cities/areas, knowing the restaurant industry inside out and representing Deliveroo locally.
- Use data insights to enhance our customer proposition neighborhood by neighborhood.
- Manage top restaurant partners, lead negotiations, and optimize their performance for growth.
- Support local hero brands' growth with Account Managers.
- Sign up new top local restaurants and set them up for success.
- Lead and coach the local Business Development Managers, handling deal negotiations.
- Develop local sales strategies, identifying key gaps and focus areas.
- Improve our local customer offering through better selection, restaurant operations, and strategic planning.
- Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles.
- Results and target-oriented mindset.
- Ability to analyze data on restaurant and area performance to identify improvements.
- Flexible working pattern: 2-3 days field-based and 2-3 days office/home working.
- Preferably a UK driving license and access to a car.
