The Team
The U.K. & Ireland is our domestic and most mature market. Teams include commercial, operations, marketing, and strategy. Our UK&I teams collaborate with global departments such as product, technology, and consumer.
The Regional Growth team manages the commercial output of our mid-market restaurant partners across the U.K. and Ireland, including our dark kitchen offering, Editions, and the Chinese Category Team. Each region has its own complexities and opportunities, focusing on providing the best selection to customers and growth opportunities for restaurants.
The Role
We are seeking a City Manager to join our South England team. You will build relationships with restaurant partners in Brighton, Maidstone, and Haywards Heath, enhancing our value proposition and identifying growth opportunities. This is ideal for someone passionate about relationship-building and data-driven insights. You will report to the Regional Manager for South England and be based in London.
What you\'ll do:
- Become the local expert in your cities/areas, understanding the restaurant industry and representing Deliveroo locally.
- Use data to improve customer offerings neighborhood by neighborhood.
- Manage key restaurant accounts, lead negotiations, and optimize partner performance for growth.
- Support local hero brands\' growth alongside Account Managers.
- Identify and onboard new popular local restaurants for success.
- Lead Business Development Managers, providing coaching and deal-making support.
- Develop local sales strategies, focusing on key value gaps and opportunities.
- Enhance local customer offerings through knowledge, improving selection, operations, and strategic planning.
- Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles.
- Results and target-oriented mindset.
- Ability to analyze data on restaurant and area performance for improvements.
- Flexible work pattern: 2-3 days field-based, 2-3 days office/home working.
- Preferably hold a UK driving license and own a car.
