We’re looking for a Strategy & Commercial Manager to join our East England team. This is a hybrid role. In this role, you’ll help us build strong relationships with our restaurant partners in Colchester & Chelmsford, using data-driven insights to improve our customer proposition and accelerate local growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Regional Growth team. We are responsible for the commercial output of our mid-market restaurant partners across the UK and Ireland, focusing on bringing the best local selection to our customers and unlocking growth opportunities for our restaurants. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Own Regional Performance: Act as the local expert and face of Deliveroo for Colchester & Chelmsford, mapping out the local sales strategy to close value proposition gaps.
  • Manage Top Partnerships: Lead account management and commercial negotiations for top restaurant partners, optimising their performance on our platform to drive growth.
  • Drive Data-Led Insights: Analytical review of restaurant and city performance data to identify strategic improvements across selection, pricing, and operations.
  • Expand Local Selection: Identify, pitch, and onboard top local favourite brands to Deliveroo, setting them up for long-term operational success.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with field-based Account Managers, Operations, and Marketing teams to maximise local hero brand growth and campaign participation.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

  • Commercial and Sales Track Record: Proven experience in account management, sales, or commercial strategy roles, with a target-oriented mindset.
  • Data-Led Decision Making: Strong understanding of how to interpret performance data to identify commercial trends and build actionable growth plans.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence independent restaurant owners, and lead successful business negotiations.
  • Strategic Market Mapping: Ability to understand a local competitive landscape and translate customer experience gaps into a structured sales strategy.
  • Mobility Requirements: A valid UK driving licence and use of a car, with the flexibility to balance field-based territory visits (2-3 days per week) with remote or office work.
