We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Livorno team. In this role, you’ll help us build new relationships with the region's most premium restaurants and stores, acting as a founding member of our local presence in Tuscany.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Strategic Prospecting: Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants across Livorno, acting as an area expert who knows the local food scene and upcoming trends.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Support new partners through the joining process, ensuring they have a seamless and positive experience as they launch on Deliveroo.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage with restaurant owners via physical visits, calls, and digital channels to demonstrate our technology and help them overcome barriers to entry.
  • Market Ambassadorship: Attend restaurant and food meet-ups to stay connected with the local industry and build a strong network of premium partners.
  • Deal Negotiation: Manage commercial discussions from start to finish, tailoring Deliveroo’s value proposition to meet the needs of savvy local business owners.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in targeting new business with a "hunter" mindset and a drive to close deals.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate complex discussions to build win-win partnerships.
  • Communication: Exceptional confidence in dealing with partners face-to-face, over the phone, or via digital platforms.
  • Industry Knowledge: A deep interest in (or knowledge of) the restaurant and retail industry is a significant plus.
