Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Bristol & South West team. In this role, you’ll help us sign up the best restaurants in the region, improving our proposition for customers and identifying ways to fuel our rapid growth across the South West and Wales.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Regional UK & Ireland team, reporting to the Regional Manager. We are experts in the local markets we serve, from Brighton to Belfast. This isn't a typical office job; you’ll be out on the road as the face of Deliveroo, hunting for the best culinary gems in Swansea and the surrounding areas.

  • Strategic Prospecting: Map, pitch, and close new restaurant partners across your region, acting as a city-level expert who knows exactly what local customers crave.
  • Multi-channel Outreach: Connect with restaurant owners through physical visits, calls, and digital platforms to demonstrate the value of Deliveroo’s technology.
  • Seamless Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end partner onboarding process to ensure it is as quick and efficient as possible for the merchant.
  • Drive Partner Success: Take ownership of a partner’s first eight weeks on the platform, ensuring they are set up for long-term growth and high performance.
  • Market Immersion: Stay ahead of industry trends by attending food meet-ups and sampling high-quality food from potential partners.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

  • Sales & Negotiation: Proven experience in "hunting" roles, with the ability to structure win-win deals for both restaurants and Deliveroo.
  • Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of the economics of food delivery and the ability to work towards demanding monthly targets.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport face-to-face, over the phone, and via email.
  • Industry Knowledge: A genuine interest in the food and restaurant scene, with the ability to demonstrate product value to savvy business owners.
  • Mobility & Ownership: A self-starter with a valid driving licence and car, who is comfortable being out on the road and taking full ownership of their region.

Why Join Us?

At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving. We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:

  • Make a visible impact every day: Your work directly improves experiences for customers, partners and riders.
  • Learn fast in an entrepreneurial environment: Work close to the market with autonomy, pace and real responsibility.
  • Build a career, not just a role: Stretch yourself, develop new skills and grow as the business evolves.
  • Deliver together in an inclusive culture: Collaborative, values-driven teams that support how you work best.

We aim to create a fair process that lets your skills shine—our interview typically includes 3-4 stages. Find more about how we hire here.
