As part of the regional UKI team, you will be managing the best restaurants in the city/region. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Chinese Category team. Reporting to the Client Partner (Regional), this is a rare opportunity to join a rapidly growing tech company and drive the growth of Chinese restaurants across Cambridge, Oxford, Bristol & Brighton. The role will be commercially focused and require cross-functional collaboration with teams across the Deliveroo business (e.g. Account Management, Restaurant Support, Sales, Marketing) to ensure the Chinese Category is performing to its best. You will work with hundreds of the highest performing Chinese restaurants, build relationships with them, seek to understand their businesses, and use your analytical skills to drive growth and profitability. This is an excellent role for a commercial and outgoing individual who enjoys building and maintaining relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining and growing relationships between Deliveroo and our top Chinese restaurant partners through strong communication both face-to-face and remotely.
- Driving restaurant performance through data analysis and industry knowledge to maximise order volume and growth potential through Deliveroo.
- Negotiating contracts and terms of partnership.
- Liaising with our restaurant and rider operations teams to improve operational efficiencies.
- Working with marketing teams to accelerate restaurant order growth.
- Innovating and presenting new ideas to increase Deliveroo growth and efficiencies.
- Being a local expert for your category and understanding the market.
This means knowing the restaurant industry inside and out, and being the face of Deliveroo to the Chinese restaurant industry.
Requirements
- The right candidate will be hungry, ambitious and motivated to work within a fast-moving environment.
- The role requires a strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen and a desire to work closely with restaurants.
- Fluent speaker and writer in Mandarin (and/or Cantonese would be a bonus!).
- Professional experience in Sales or Account Management.
- Effective relationship-building and communication skills whether face-to-face, through phone or email.
- Strong commercial acumen and comfortable understanding and using data.
- Results‑orientated, with a track record of achieving targets and successful negotiations.
- Experience in working in a dynamic high‑growth company is preferable.
- Self‑starter, hard worker and well‑organised.
- An interest in all things food and restaurants.
- Ability to work autonomously whilst out meeting restaurant partners in Cambridge, Oxford, Bristol & Brighton.

Compensation
We aim to pay every employee competitively for the role they are performing in their respective location. Depending on role and location, some employees may be eligible for an annual cash bonus, sign‑on bonus or relocation support. Up to 5% matched pension contributions.
