We’re looking for a Billing Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team and play a critical role in our revenue cycle. As a critical member of the Billing team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing operations. Working closely with your colleagues, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling the processing of billing adjustments and issuing all necessary paperwork.
  • Managing complex customer billing queries and disputes, working closely with Account Managers to ensure their prompt and effective resolution.
  • Active queue management of queries within both the Sidetrade and Salesforce platforms.
  • Maintaining accounts receivable data and records (Master data).
  • Assisting the Credit Control team with rectification queries to aid the efficient allocation of incoming payments and/or credit notes.
  • Resolving any queries on the SDI portal and resubmitting when necessary.
  • Assisting with crucial Month End activities.
  • Any other necessary ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a finance or administration role.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet strict service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Must be proactive in managing workload and possess excellent time management skills to plan your day and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • A high sense of ownership, demonstrated by taking initiative and driving tasks through to completion independently, but also knowing when to escalate a problem for resolution.
  • A good understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) activity.
  • Strong systems experience, preferably with Netsuite, Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel.
