About the team

Deliveroo Ads connects world leading CPG and Non Endemic consumer brands with our customers to help drive their advertising objectives in the exciting new space of Retail Media. Aside from offering media opportunities on our platform, we also provide off-platform solutions through social, CRM, product sampling and data to provide something truly unique.

About the role

This UK-based role is responsible for driving advertising revenue through London based media agencies to unlock EMEA budgets. It will also require you to use your agency contacts to build a network in the local markets of FR, IT and UAE where relevant to do so. This role focuses on building strong, long term agency relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities, and delivering revenue against quarterly and annual targets. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the UK agency landscape and experience working with regional or global agency teams. The position is based at our London HQ but will require travel to Paris, Milan, Dubai when required with flexible hybrid working and reports to the Director of Sales, Advertising.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and grow relationships with key London based media agencies, including planners, buyers and agency leadership who have a remit for EMEA advertising budgets
  • Build relationships with local market agency teams in France and Italy to drive spend onto Deliveroo
  • Support direct brand deals cross markets when an agency team is involved
  • Travel within EMEA as required to support agency and client relationships
  • Pitch to agency teams who are responsible for CPG and Non Endemic advertisers
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and reporting
  • Collaborate with Internal teams including sales, marketing, operations and product
  • Manage deal negotiations and contracts
  • Track market trends, agency structures and competitor activity across EMEA
  • Contribute to the Ads overall commercial strategy and ensure alignment across regions

Requirements

  • Required: 8+ years experience in media agency sales
  • Strong relationships with UK media agencies and experience working with international agency teams
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue across multiple markets
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of international advertising markets
  • Experience selling multi market or regional advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge of EMEA media landscapes
  • Experience of working with CPG, Home Ents, Payments, Travel advertisers
  • Experience working with global agency groups (WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Dentsu, IPG)

Compensation

We aim to pay every employee competitively for the role they are performing in their respective location. Depending on role and location, some employees may be eligible for an annual cash bonus, sign-on bonus or relocation support. Up to 5% matched pension contributions.
