Your Impact: As the Head of IT and Procurement, you will lead our global IT infrastructure and vendor management strategy, playing a pivotal role in optimising our internal operations. You will design and execute strategies to streamline global hardware provisioning, negotiate SaaS contracts, and ensure our global teams have the secure tools they need to succeed in our high-growth B2B SaaS environment. This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 3 days in either our Ghent, London or Madrid office and 2 days from the comfort of your home.
What you will do:
- Strategic IT Leadership (approx. 25%): Execute a global IT strategy aligned with company growth plans. Partner with leaders to drive operational excellence, and scalable processes for employee IT journey.
- Procurement & Vendor Management (approx. 30%): Own and refine the end-to-end software and hardware procurement lifecycle. Negotiate enterprise contracts for our internal GTM and engineering stack to maximise ROI and ensure budget predictability.
- Systems Administration & Security (approx. 20%): Establish data governance frameworks to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance across all internal systems. Partner with the Security team to implement robust zero-trust network policies and endpoint management.
- Asset Management (approx. 15%): Build models to evaluate discounting and vendor deal structures, and measure IT service performance using clear KPIs and dashboards.
- Global Team Support & Innovation (approx. 10%): Manage the operational challenges of a distributed global team and support local markets with tailored hardware strategies while maintaining a centralized global structure.
What you will bring:
- Core Experience: 8+ years of experience in an IT Operations, Procurement, or Systems Engineering role. Proven experience in a B2B SaaS company during a rapid growth phase and demonstrable experience supporting a global workforce.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert systems administrator with hands-on experience managing modern SaaS identity and access management tools and endpoint management solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Data-driven strategist who can devise high-level strategy and is equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to build a workflow or debug a technical issue. Can rally people around a clear vision and build pragmatic solutions.
