JOB PURPOSE
To produce and develop the content and commercial strategy for events under the ITW and TowerXchange brands in Asia, including but not limited to ITW Asia and TowerXchange Meetup Asia. You will also be responsible for TowerXchange’s coverage in Asia, as required. As part of your role you will build relationships with a community of telecom infrastructure leaders, identify and analyse trends, and distilling these insights into respected, published research and renowned events that add value to the markets we serve.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct extensive research, analyse data, competitive landscapes, addressable market, identifying trends and opportunities
- Lead the event strategy and commercial validation through market interviews with industry experts and new business prospects
- Secure high-profile speakers and manage their customer journey throughout the event cycle
- Work closely with marketing to develop an effective marketing campaign
- Work closely with sales to qualify new leads and manage key account expectations
- Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure the delivery of successful events, maintaining outstanding standards of customer experience whilst managing costs to protect profit margins
- Project manage the delivery of your events and inspire and influence your project team to work towards the same targets and objectives
- Originate, author and publish high quality market studies, interviews and editorials on a regular basis to support TowerXchange’s media coverage of the telecom tower market in Asia
- Be the face of the region: develop your expertise and your reputation as a subject matter expert in your own right, sustaining the brand’s reputation as the leading source of analysis and commentary on trends, deals and future outlook, and enabling you to deliver insightful presentations and editorials, and to be a respected host of your own events

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience in event production and project management
- A proven and accomplished writer, including interview transcription, and original analyses
- A strong verbal communicator able to build trust and communicate complex concepts internally and to external clients and partners
- Experience of conducting research through understanding of how to ask non-leading questions, how to extend and deepen a dialogue, takes thorough notes and synthesises these into executable insights, publishable content and compelling event sessions
- A proven ability to originate, validate and deliver new content ideas, both editorial and events
- Experienced in driving revenue growth through new business acquisition, event launches or add-ons
DESIRABLE
- Previous experience in delivering presentations and moderating sessions a plus
- An understanding of the telecom sector and its fundamentals
