Delight Supported Living is recruiting Support Workers for new Supported Living Services. We will provide care and support to vulnerable adults in the area, offering competitive rates and a real living wage.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Ensure a homely environment for service users.
  • Provide person‑centred care.
  • Create and implement organisational procedures to maintain quality standards.
  • Look after the physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs of the service users using a person‑centred approach.
  • Observe and promote the service user’s choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment and other rights.
  • Actively support other support workers.
  • Work on observations and undertake report writing.
  • Observe and monitor service user well‑being, and proactively report and escalate any unusual situations to senior staff, documenting in accordance with policy/procedures.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and statutory obligations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Retain knowledge of service users’ care and support plan.
  • Proactively encourage client independence and motivation.
  • Be a companion to the service user by talking and listening to them.
  • Accompany service users on trips into the community.
  • Perform any other duties necessary to give person‑centred care.
