Production Prep Chef

Join us as a Production Prep Chef at Delifresh ltd and help deliver high‑quality, pre‑prepared vegetable products to our hospitality customers.

About The Role

We are looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our production team in Cramlington.

• Produce a range of pre‑prepared raw vegetable products, by hand or machine
• Create bespoke knife‑finished products to customer specifications
• Weigh, label, and quality‑check finished products
• Maintain the workplace and machinery to the highest standards
• Work within the agreed SOPs, SSOW, Food Hygiene regulations
• Understand allergen controls
• Work well with others, doing your bit to create a positive workplace
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Ask for help when you need it
• Learn our products

About You

• You will love good food

• Have worked in a food preparation or kitchen facility
• Have superior knife skills
• Able to use, strip and clean machinery
• Able to work in a chilled environment
• Thrive on being busy and hitting deadlines
• Be flexible
• Fit enough to lift up to 25 KG
• Have a good sense of humour

Hours

45 hours per week; Sunday and Monday (5‑hour shift from 6‑hour day) – please see in‑person interview for exact schedule.

Salary

£27,025.12 per annum.
