– Create and design compelling sales literature such as brochures, product catalogues, flyers, and other marketing collateral tailored for bakery customers

– Collaborate with category management, sales, and local and global marketing to ensure that all marketing materials align with brand guidelines, business objectives, and customer needs

– Develop sector and product fact sheets, and detailed product descriptions that highlight unique selling points (USPs), ingredients and benefits of Délifrance bakery products.

– Utilise and adapt marketing materials developed by Global Marketing

– Design and produce trade presentations and pitch decks to support the sales team in engaging and persuading customers to list products

– Ensure all trade materials effectively showcase product features, performance, and benefits, using data, case studies, and visual elements to enhance presentations

– Regularly update and customise trade materials based on new product launches, customer feedback, and market trends

3. Branded Product Launch Strategy & Coordination:

– Manage Délifrance product launches in the foodservice sector checking that everything is created to successfully launch products – labels, product specs, etc.

– Ensure that marketing materials are ready in advance of Délifrance product launches and are distributed to the sales team and key customers in a timely manner. Developing promotional materials, including email campaigns, product videos, and digital assets for websites and social media

– Create and execute trade promotions and rolling out impactful in-store/online campaigns in collaboration with sales teams

4. Website

– Liaise with the Global Digital team to ensure that the Global digital strategy is translated to the UK

– Manage Délifrance UK website, ensuring all data is up to date and highlighting improvements when appropriate

– Regularly update website with new products, recipes, reports, etc.

– Report monthly website KPIs and make recommendations

– Record, distribute and track leads received via website

– Create regular newsletter for the UK&I business working with the PR agency. Ensure that database is update with latest leads.

– Manage social media where appropriate

– Manage Brandbank and ensure that it is kept updated when new products are launched (both branded and Own Label)

5. Trade Show & Event Support:

– Develop and coordinate trade show materials, including booth designs (if relevant), product displays, banners, pull ups and handouts, to effectively showcase bakery products at industry events

– Ensure that all marketing materials are prepared, printed, and distributed on time for trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings

– Work with Délifrance chefs to ensure that recipes are developed and correct products are presented during shows

6. Market & Competitor Analysis:

– Conduct market research and analyse competitor marketing materials and catalogues to identify best practices and new opportunities for promoting bakery products

– Use market insights to develop sales tools, ensuring that materials are relevant, competitive, and aligned with industry trends

– Track the effectiveness of marketing materials by collecting feedback from the sales team and customers to continuously improve content and messaging

7. Branding & Messaging Consistency:

– Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and tone across all trade marketing materials to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and positioning

– Ensure all materials reflect the company’s values, product quality, and commitment to innovation within the bakery industry

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

– Work closely with the Category Management, Marketing, Product Development and Sales to gather key product information and insights for marketing materials

– Liaise with graphic designers, copywriters, and external agencies to produce high-quality, visually appealing content

– Partner with the sales team to understand their needs and ensure marketing materials are effectively supporting their sales efforts

Qualifications & Experience:

– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

– Experience: 3+ years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in the food, FMCG, or bakery sector

– Sector knowledge: Expertise in the foodservice market with an understanding of the channel market dynamics in terms of size, areas of growth, sector opportunities and consumers’ insight

– Marketing Skills: Strong understanding of creating effective B2B sales tools, brochures, presentations, and other marketing collateral. Experience with product launches in the bakery or food industry is a plus

– Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and PowerPoint. Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation platforms is an advantage

– Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and visually appealing sales materials

– Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and coordinate with various teams across the company

– Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring that all materials are accurate, professional, and aligned with product specifications and customer needs

– Creativity & Innovation: Ability to translate technical product information into compelling, visually engaging marketing materials
