About Deliciously Ella
Deliciously Ella’s mission is to help people eat real food again, with more plants, more of the time. We are growing fast and we’re looking for talented, passionate, purpose-led people who share in our mission to help us get there. Every day, we work to cultivate positive change, sharing delicious, natural, plant-based recipes and food products with the aim of building the world’s leading plant-based platform. Starting from a recipe website, the business has evolved into a restaurant, a range of plant-based food products, an app, a collection of bestselling recipe books and a growing social media community that sits at the heart of what we do. We launched our first food products in 2016 and have since launched a wide range of products across different categories. We work with all the major grocers and OOH retailers across the UK. We also have a growing international business in the US and Europe.
Working at Deliciously Ella
We have around 75 team members across two sites. Our factory site near Milton Keynes produces some of our best-loved products like our energy balls, caramel cups, nut butter bites and dipped nuts. Our Head Office is based in the heart of central London, on Tottenham Court Road, and this is where our Leadership Team work, alongside our Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing and People teams.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a strategic, commercially minded Senior National Account Manager to lead some of the UK’s most loved natural food brands; Organix, Goodies and Deliciously Ella. You will manage a number of Account Managers and take ownership of one of our biggest grocery customers, delivering profitable growth and driving the availability of healthy, natural products across the UK retail landscape. You can be based in either London or Bournemouth.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will lead and deliver Joint Business Plans tailored to customer needs and aligned with Hero UK&I’s brand strategies, focusing on mutual and profitable growth. You’ll support and evolve the grocery channel strategy while identifying commercial opportunities using EPOS data, market trends, and shopper insights across multiple categories. With full ownership of the commercial agenda—including P&Ls, forecasting, pricing, and trade spend—you'll ensure strong financial performance and ROI. Collaborating cross-functionally with teams like supply chain, marketing, category, and finance, you’ll drive seamless execution of plans and meet customer needs. You’ll be responsible for accurate forecasting, account administration, and responding to competitor activity. A key part of your role will be improving in-store visibility through data-led strategies and securing secondary space and impactful shopper marketing. Internally, you’ll be a leader and act as a customer champion and change agent—sharing insights, driving growth, and challenging the status quo to continuously improve performance.
Your team
You will be part of the Commercial team for Deliciously Ella, Organix and Goodies, reporting to our Managing Director.
What you will bring (skills and experience)
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring proven FMCG experience managing major UK grocery accounts—ideally Top 4 - and a strong track record in leading teams and delivering results across multiple categories. You’ll have sharp commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills, with solid P&L understanding and the ability to balance growth with profitability. A self-starter with strategic thinking and a data-led mindset, you’re confident managing complexity and driving insight-led decision-making. You’ll be passionate about sales, purpose-led brands, and natural, healthy food, with the ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and senior retail partners. Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, challenge the status quo, and play a key role in shaping success.
