Delice is the largest specialist distributor of premium frozen bakery products operating in the UK with a rich history underpinned by a focus on innovation and customer service.
Established in London over 35 years ago, primarily focused on the foodservice sector, with notable success in retail, leveraging its established strategic supplier network to navigate global food trends and develop a holistic understanding of the food market in conjunction with its own multi temperature UK logistics network.
4th Oct 2019 Delice became Independent through a management buyout. Through increased but measured agility and flexibility Delice optimised its assets, grew new sales channels and further enriched its own fleet to benefit its customers.
Delice is led by an entrepreneurial experienced management team with a demonstrable record of delivering performance, supported by years of industry knowledge and insight. The Company has a proven track record with strong financial performance.
Delice management responded quickly to the initial pandemic, speedily right sizing the business by July 2020 with it's new independent agility. Through Covid Delice developed brand new business channels, built a successful dark kitchen, and became a multi temperature UK Fleet whilst also navigating its full separation from Aryzta and meeting all its financial obligations.
Delice today is now an even stronger, fit for purpose business in a stronger financial position. Delice continues to be well positioned for future growth.
The Role
At Delice, Finance plays a central role in driving commercial performance across the business. We operate with an entrepreneurial mindset and work closely with Sales, Operations and Marketing to support informed decision-making at every level.
