The Role: Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that product is manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, and Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.

Your Duties:
- To conduct your duties in a manner that safeguards your own safety and the safety of others.
- Working and supporting the Deli Lites Quality Team. Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
- Approving in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to your Quality Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor.
- Approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Completing paperwork and records of checks carried out, including weight checks, temperature checks, label checks, metal detection, and where required checkweigher checks.
- Ensuring any Internal and Supplier Non-Conformances are communicated through the Daily Quality Reports.
- Keeping measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and highlighting the need for repairs.
- Supporting the production team and ensuring the prevention of use of sub-standard ingredients and the prevention of poor quality or potentially unsafe product leaving site.
- Supporting the NPD and Production teams during production trials.
- Reporting issues to the quality manager/supervisor that may result in compromised food safety, food legality, or quality of our products.
- To carry out any other reasonable working instruction given by your Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager, and Technical Manager.

- Excellent planning and organising skills.
- IT Literate.
- Experience working within a Quality Department within the food industry.
