Are you ready to gain real-life work experience, achieve a fully funded postgraduate diploma, and get paid all while working with one of Northern Ireland’s most innovative and award-winning food companies?
This is your opportunity to join DELI LITES Ireland, a dynamic, fast-growing business in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry, supplying premium food-to-go products to customers across the UK, Ireland, and internationally. As part of our Graduate to Export (G2E) Programme, you’ll play a key role in helping us expand into new markets while developing your own skills, experience, and qualifications.
This is an 18-month career opportunity designed to fast-track your future in international/national business.
- During the first six months, you’ll be based at our headquarters in Northern Ireland, gaining valuable insight into our business operations, supply chain, customers, and brand. You’ll learn first-hand how an ambitious FMCG business operates at pace, delivering high-quality products to major retailers and global partners.
- Following this, you will spend up to 12 months working and living in an export market (outside of NI), undertaking research, identifying growth opportunities, and helping us drive our expansion. This is real work, with real responsibility, and real impact.
A fully funded Postgraduate Diploma in International Marketing Alongside hands-on experience, you’ll complete a fully funded Postgraduate Diploma in International Marketing, delivered by Ulster University in partnership with The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade. This qualification is designed to give you a solid foundation in global trade, export strategy, and international marketing offering a pathway to further study at Master’s level if you choose.

The Role:
- We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated graduate to join our Commercial Team in a newly created Graduate to Export role within DELI LITES Ireland. · This exciting position will focus on researching and identifying growth opportunities within the travel sector, a key area of expansion for DELI LITES. · The successful candidate will play a vital role in carrying out structured market research, analysing trends, and supporting the development of new commercial strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to explore new export opportunities, support business development efforts, and attend relevant trade shows both locally and across Europe.
- This is an ideal position for a recent graduate with a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline who is eager to develop a career in international trade and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured market research with a focus on the travel sector and export opportunities.
- Perform competitor analysis and contribute to identifying market gaps and trends.
- Analyse data and develop insights that support business development strategy.
- Partner with members of the commercial team to identify leads and prospects.
- Support gap analysis by mapping current offerings against market demand.
- Build an understanding of our core product range and competitive positioning.
- Assist in preparing presentations and internal reports based on research findings.
- Attend relevant trade shows and exhibitions in Ireland and Europe, representing the brand and gathering commercial insights.
- Maintain records of contacts, research, and commercial activity using CRM tools.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to support wider commercial initiatives.
- Carry out additional duties within reason and capability as required by the Commercial Manager.
Essential Criteria
- Education – Degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade or related field
- Experience – Experience conducting research or working on academic/commercial projects, Strong organisational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Skills – Analytical mindset with attention to detail, comfortable working independently or in a small team, strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office, especially excel and powerpoint.
- Personal Attributes – Self-motivated and able to use initiative, curious, adaptable and eager to learn, professional, positive attitude.
