Founded over 30 years ago, Sir Cameron Mackintosh's Delfont Mackintosh Theatres Ltd owns and operates eight of the most prestigious theatres in London's West End: the Gielgud, Noël Coward, Novello, Sondheim, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales, Victoria Palace and Wyndham's.
Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to fill this varied and dynamic technical performance role in our Electrics Department.
Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑class technical services for live productions.
- Operate follow spot equipment and collaborate across technical departments.
- Perform any other duties reasonably requested by management.
- Work primarily at one specified theatre, but be prepared to work at any of the eight Delfont Mackintosh Theatres on a temporary or indefinite basis.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Follow Spot Operator in a live theatre setting.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to manage shifting responsibilities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to unexpected situations such as malfunctions or sudden shutdowns.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently.
Work Schedule
Evening and weekend work is required.
