About Delfa
Billions of people still suffer from everyday diseases. The clinical trial system is broken. Despite $120 billion spent each year, most trials are delayed due to bottlenecks like patient recruitment. Delfa fixes this with autonomous AI agents that automate clinical trials. In less than a year from launch, we have deployed onto 300+ trials across multiple conditions, reached seven‑figure ARR and grew 22% MoM, and raised an oversubscribed $3.8 m seed from tier‑one AI investors.
Overview
Delfa is at a critical inflection: we have a proven offering that is on track to support the recruitment of thousands of participants into trials in 2026, while simultaneously expanding our offerings with new products for biopharmaceutical companies.
We are hiring a Founding Deployed Engineer to own the conversion of pilots, success of new customers and identification of new product opportunities. You will be responsible for deeply understanding our customer needs and working shoulder‑to‑shoulder to solve them.
What You'll Do
- Own the pilot‑to‑customer conversion process end‑to‑end, from onboarding, value quantification through to expansion.
- Build scalable onboarding processes and playbooks that can work across a growing customer base.
- Deploy AI agents to handle onboarding grunt work and free up time for high‑leverage customer interactions.
- Work directly with customers to extract validated product insights and quickly prototype solutions to test them.
- Spot patterns across the customer base and package them up for engineering so the right things get built.
- Help open and grow our US presence as we expand our commercial team there.
You'll Be A Great Fit If…
- You are technical and commercial in equal measure: you're comfortable writing code to prototype a solution and equally comfortable explaining to customers why it matters. The bridge between those two worlds is where you live.
- You are obsessed with feedback loops: you understand that in a world where code is cheap, the real bottleneck is extracting validated ideas from customers fast. You build systems and habits to make that happen.
- You thrive in complexity: clinical trial sites are regulated, risk‑averted organizations with high stakes. You know how to build trust and show them value in a way that meets them where they are.
- You don't wait for instruction: you identify the problem, define the solution, and move. When you see a pattern across three customers, you've already written the proposal before anyone asks you to.
- You love using AI: you reach for Claude, Cursor, or whatever the right tool is to ship faster. You're experimenting constantly and sharing what you learn.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and meaningful equity.
- Private health insurance and gym membership.
- 25 days of holiday plus UK public holidays.
- Modern office space 5 minutes from Old Street station.
- True 0 → 1 ownership.
