Senior Asset Allocation Analyst

Our client is looking for an Asset Allocation Analyst to deliver high‑quality economic analysis, build quantitative frameworks, and help drive top‑down investment insight for portfolio management. What You’ll Do Analyse and interpret macroeconomic and market data to support central investment decisions. Build, refine, and enhance quantitative models that deepen the firm’s analytical capabilities. Produce detailed, engaging research for internal notes to external thought‑leadership pieces. Present insights to investment managers and senior stakeholders across the business. Proactively identify new research areas and contribute to the evolution of the asset allocation process at the strategic and tactical levels. Collaborate with specialists across equities, fixed income, collectives, and risk modelling. What You Bring A strong academic background, a bachelor’s, and a master’s in Economics, Political Economy, Economic History, or a related field. Solid understanding of economics and quantitative/econometric techniques applied to portfolio management. Coding experience (Python preferred) is beneficial but not essential. Ability to communicate complex ideas in plain, engaging language — visually and verbally. A proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to take ownership of research areas.
