Our client is looking for a Senior Asset Allocation Analyst to deliver high‑quality economic analysis, build quantitative frameworks, and help drive top‑down investment insight for portfolio management.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse and interpret macroeconomic and market data to support central investment decisions.
- Build, refine, and enhance quantitative models that deepen the firm’s analytical capabilities.
- Produce detailed, engaging research for internal notes to external thought‑leadership pieces.
- Present insights to investment managers and senior stakeholders across the business.
- Proactively identify new research areas and contribute to the evolution of the asset allocation process at the strategic and tactical levels.
- Collaborate with specialists across equities, fixed income, collectives, and risk modelling.
What You Bring
- Five years’ experience in a similar role in financial services or as a consultant serving that sector.
- A strong academic background, a bachelor’s, and a master’s in Economics, Political Economy, Economic History, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of economics and quantitative/econometric techniques.
- Coding experience (Python preferred) is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in plain, engaging language — visually and verbally.
- A proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to take ownership of research areas.
