A leading investment company is seeking a Head of Asset Allocation to own its total portfolio allocation framework. The Role
Positioned at the heart of the research function and reporting to the CIO you will be responsible for driving a rigorous, well‐governed asset allocation process that delivers superior risk‐adjusted outcomes across client portfolios. This includes:
- Leading the development and communication of the firm's asset allocation framework
- Producing impactful macroeconomic, valuation and thematic research
- Advising senior investment committees on risks, opportunities and portfolio positioning
- Presenting views clearly to internal stakeholders, clients and the media
- Managing, coaching and developing a team of three analysts
- Enhancing the company's reputation for thought leadership in macro and markets
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, consistent and evidence‐based allocation decisions
- Analyse macroeconomic and market data using advanced econometric and time‐series techniques
- Produce high‐quality research notes, articles and quick response commentary
- Monitor strategy performance and communicate insights to investment managers
- Collaborate across equities, fixed income, collectives, risk and portfolio management teams
- Uphold strong governance standards and robust decision documentation

- Deep expertise in macroeconomics, asset class drivers, and market dynamics
- Strong experience producing top‐down research
