The Role: Client & Sales Support Executive (UK)
This is a multi-functional, high-responsibility support role ideal for someone with 2–3 years’ experience who wants:
- Exposure to client-facing work with institutional investors
- A deep understanding of global investment themes and research
- Day-to-day collaboration with senior commercial leadership
- A structured pathway to progress into Relationship Management/sales/account management
This is not a pure sales-closing role and not an analyst role. Instead, you will be the operational and commercial backbone for the team, ensuring our sales, client engagement, and marketing efforts run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Sales Support
- Support Relationship Managers with LinkedIn and email outreach to prospective and existing institutional clients.
- Conduct lead research and maintain up-to-date prospect lists.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for Relationship Managers and Directors.
- Assist with demo/trial account creation, ID setup, and access coordination.
- Track subscription renewals, send reminders, and follow up with clients.
- Maintain and update CRM records and internal trackers to a high standard.
- Help coordinate regional analyst trips and related client meetings.
- Keep broad track of key global investment, macroeconomic, geopolitical, and market news.
- Flag relevant developments that may impact clients or align with research themes.
- Prepare simple daily or weekly summaries/trackers for Relationship Managers and Directors.
- Support Directors in monitoring themes relevant to ongoing publications and client conversations.
- Support basic marketing campaigns (emails, newsletters, webinars, announcements).
- Maintain and update mailing lists and client databases.
- Assist with LinkedIn and content distribution (posting, coordination, basic performance tracking).
What We’re Looking For
- Experience (2–3 years) in one or more of: Inside Sales/Sales Support, Client Support or Account Coordination, Business Development, Research/Content Support, Marketing Operations/Campaign Support.
- Comfortable with CRM systems, Excel/Google Sheets, email tools, and LinkedIn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine interest in financial markets, business, geopolitics, and global affairs.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Able to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
- Proactive, curious, and keen to develop into a more senior, client-facing role.
