Are you a Plant, Vehicle, HGV, or Agricultural Technician looking for a new challenge? We’re seeking a motivated individual to transfer their existing skills and become a Crane Service Engineer.

We’ve successfully helped technicians from similar backgrounds progress into highly skilled crane engineering roles, making this an excellent opportunity for career development.

Working alongside our experienced team to carry out planned maintenance, repairs, and rigging on our extensive fleet of hydraulic crawler cranes. Hands-on work both in our workshop and at various locations across the UK and Ireland. Willingness to work outdoors and travel as required by the business.

Receive comprehensive on-the-job training to achieve NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Plant Maintenance. Additional accredited training will include CPCS Appointed Person, CPCS Lift Supervisor, CPCS Slinger Signaller, CPCS Crawler Crane Operator, IPAF, CETOP Hydraulics, LEEA courses, and manufacturer-specific training.

Work on a modern fleet of crawler cranes, gaining hands-on experience in rigging, servicing, and repairs. Perform preventative maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal crane performance. Maintain accurate daily records using PDA systems for inspections, servicing, and repairs.

Be flexible to work away from home and outside normal hours, including weekends when required, to assist with breakdowns—flexibility is essential. Carry out servicing and maintenance on other mechanical plant equipment in the workshop and yard as needed.

Technically minded, with the ability to learn and perform fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in crawler cranes. Eager to learn new skills, demonstrating attention to detail and ensuring all inspections are completed to the highest standards.

Full UK driving licence required.

Salary: We pride ourselves on delivering highly competitive, industry-leading pay rates, supported by a strong overall package with excellent earning potential.

Hours: 39-hour working week - plus regular overtime, and a company vehicle.
