The opportunity Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time People Operations Coordinator to work at Wembley Stadium in London. As People Operations Coordinator, you will be working within the people team to deliver all major events at Wembley Stadium, in order to achieve a culture of high engagement, connection, and world-class guest service excellence. If you are confident, passionate, organised, and possess incredible communication and interpersonal skills, take a shot at your new job with us. Please be aware that this role is operational and therefore evening and weekend availability is essential. This position requires full-time, on-site presence in the office.

What will you do?

  • Support the workforce planning and resource deployment for major events and associated meetings, focusing on the provision of the right resources, skills, and experience to meet the operational and fiscal brief.
  • Support the people team in booking and confirming appropriate levels of staff for planners and engagement programs, both on event days and in between, to maximize loyalty and commitment.
  • Analyse and identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions to support business needs and goals.
  • Communicate effectively, liaising with the operational teams on site and the casual workforce.
  • Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, and maintains Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence.

More about you

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role and workforce.
  • Knowledge or ability to use an HR or Workforce management system, including accessing, inputting, and compiling data.
  • Skills in prioritisation, time management, communication, customer service, and relationship building.
  • Ability to travel and work at Wembley Stadium, and possibly other venues as necessary.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential.
