Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Finance Assistant to join our team at Wembley Stadium in Wembley, London. What will you do?
- Maintain accurate documentation for events, acting as the main financial point of contact for the development, maintenance, and admin of the Boxes Guest Portal and RTS system
- Co-ordinate post-event accounting, including invoice preparation, payment processing, and accounts receivable to support positive business revenue
- Maintain accurate financial records through sales ledger cash allocation, payment tracking, daily and monthly bank reconciliations, and processing payments
- Build effective relationships with internal teams, guests, and financial providers, promptly resolving queries, and providing accurate information to support financial activities
- Support financial reporting, prepare profit and loss statements, maintain credit control procedures, and deliver ad hoc projects
- 3+ years' relevant finance experience
- Studying towards an accountancy qualification; no degree required
- Proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Skills in written and verbal communication, analysis, attention to detail, prioritisation, and quality focus
Physical requirements
- Ability to travel and work at Wembley Stadium 5 days per week
