As a Lead Chef, you will be leading a kitchen section, supporting team members in food production, presentation, and event execution. Competitive weekly pay starting from £18.90 / hour, with opportunity to grow once working with the team Casual shifts, including evenings and weekends flexibly working part-time for the biggest events and matchdays, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts that suit your lifestyle Free meal on event days Experience working at major sporting events and concerts including West Ham United Football Club, UK Athletics Meet, with musical icons taking the stage, and more to come in 2026 and 2027 Lead kitchen operations from planning through delivery, attend team briefings, and manage food production, menus, staffing, and logistics Ensure food consistently meets Delaware North’s standards and specifications, maintaining high quality, presentation, and consistency Lead culinary teams, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining clear communication Drive high standards of food presentation and allergen compliance, ensuring quality guest experience, leading teams to deliver seamless event service Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence No degree required Minimum of Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate Proven experience as a Senior Chef, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Junior Sous Chef, working with high-quality ingredients and premium food offerings within a fine dining, luxury hospitality, or premium restaurant environment Ability to stand for duration of shift Comfortable handling various meat products Availability to attend shifts for prep days, as well as matchdays and non-matchday event days when required, due to events-based nature of roles Ability to travel and work at London Stadium Delaware North has managed the hospitality services at London Stadium since 2015.
