The opportunity Delaware North UK is hiring casual Back of House Supervisors to join our collaborative team at London Stadium in Stratford, East London. What will you do?

  • Supervise the kitchen team to ensure safe working practices and cleanliness pre, during, and post events
  • Support the kitchen team and chefs, implementing back-of-house standard operating procedures in line with company and government guidelines
  • Support with team recruitment, training, welcome days, and other activities
  • Support management of the equipment budget, sourcing materials, and tracking stock, while also supporting with logistical tasks
  • Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

More About You

  • No degree required
  • Forklift license is beneficial
  • Previous experience in a logistically challenging environment, ideally in a hotel or premium hospitality setting
  • Experience supporting, guiding, and leading large teams within a high-volume, fast-paced catering or hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of suppliers, and manual handling, as well as skills in people management, training, task delegation, and written and verbal communication
