Delaware North UK is hiring casual Back of House Supervisors to join our collaborative team at London Stadium in Stratford, East London. In this electric environment there are always opportunities to succeed. As Head Kitchen Porter you will drive the back‑of‑house areas of the stadium, implement systems to support the hospitality and culinary teams, and assist with logistical set‑up for events.

What will you do?

  • Supervise the kitchen team to ensure safe working practices and cleanliness before, during, and after events.
  • Support the kitchen team and chefs, implementing back‑of‑house standard operating procedures in line with company and government guidelines.
  • Support with team recruitment, training, welcome days, and other activities.
  • Support management of the equipment budget, sourcing materials, and tracking stock, while also supporting logistical tasks.
  • Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North's policies and standards of excellence.

Qualifications

  • No degree required.
  • Forklift license is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in a logistically challenging environment, ideally in a hotel or premium hospitality setting.
  • Experience supporting, guiding, and leading large teams within a high‑volume, fast‑paced catering or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of suppliers, manual handling, and skills in people management, training, task delegation, and written and verbal communication.
