The Opportunity
Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Hospitality Bars Manager at London Stadium in Stratford, East London. In this electric environment, you thrive shaping the future of hospitality; as a Hospitality Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of efficient, cost effective, and quality beverage offerings across all hospitality and event suites, ensuring exceptional guest service. You will be managing the purchasing and distribution of beverages within the department, as well as stocktaking and auditing of goods. What will you do?
- Collaborate with the hospitality, meetings and events teams, to set up, de-rig, and deliver exceptional event service, ensuring sufficient beverage stock levels and producing stock forecasts
- Analyse and review goods costs within the venue, creating action plans and management activities to ensure ongoing improvement with relevant stakeholders, and drive sales and profitability across the business
- Oversee and lead a variable team at the venue to quality beverage service across the entire operation, managing performance and feedback, as well as support the hiring processes, onboarding, scheduling, training, and development of the hospitality team, and lead innovative thinking and ideas within the team
- Build strong relationships with senior business leaders and provide administrative assistance when needed, building an open and honest working relationship
- Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence
