The opportunity Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Kitchen Porter at London Stadium in Stratford. As Kitchen Porter, you will assist with dishwashing and other tasks in the culinary back of house area. This role is offered on a casual worker agreement basis with most events taking place at weekends and/or in the evening.

What will you do?
- Wash all crockery, cutlery, and light equipment using industrial machines.
- For any pans or trays that do not fit inside the machine, hand wash them in the designated sinks.
- Assist the culinary team to ensure smooth and effective service of all catering delivery within the restaurant.
- Ensure food preparation and other areas are always maintained, clean, and tidy.
- Build and sustain a professional working relationship with the entire team.
- Be clear with communication and flexible in approach to ensure guests receive excellent service.
- Assist with deliveries as needed.
- Report maintenance issues to the manager on duty.
- Be genuinely committed to serving guests.
- Ensure stock is replenished from the stores and kitchen as required.
- Keep up to date knowledge of all areas of responsibility including health and safety, COSHH, food hygiene, fire regulation, and licensing laws.

- Previous experience in a catering kitchen is desirable.
